Quite the provocative title. Is it true? Does the mainstream media actually brainwash people? With the financial and political landscape changing rapidly, it remains a mystery to many why the media’s perception of right and wrong, good or bad and praise and demonizing is often so backwards.
It also remains a mystery why many who are aware of what’s happening have a difficult time getting their point across. It’s mostly because only a handful of corporations, control over 90 percent of the media. That means nearly everything we hear on the radio, read in the news, and see on television is filtered through their moral compass and policies. General Electric, News-Corp, Disney, Viacom, Time Warner, and CBS own the corporations that control mostly everything.
